WEB DEVELOPMENT | MORNINGTON PENINSULA
Wallace Corporation builds local businesses for the future. Based in Rosebud, our technical expertise across all modern web platforms is at your disposal - to build a website that matches your ambition.
DISCUSS YOUR PROJECT →OUR APPROACH
Wallace Corporation develops websites, e-commerce and custom web platforms for Mornington Peninsula businesses. Based in Rosebud, we bring together system design, data and intelligence, and web to build the digital foundations for what your business does next.
A website is part of a wider business architecture. How it connects to your systems, captures information and puts that information to work matters well beyond launch. We design those connections from the outset, whether the work is an improvement to an existing site or a database-backed platform your business runs on.
We start with what your business needs to achieve. Then we define the technical work required to get there, with clear scope and transparent pricing before development begins.
WHY WALLACE CORPORATION
Based in Rosebud. You deal directly with the people doing the work, and we can meet on site when a call is not enough.
Our system design expertise goes further than typical web development. We build the ecosystem to level up your business as it evolves.
Our expertise in tech, data science, web development, AI and marketing helps us give you the best advice and troubleshoot efficiently.
Everything is designed around how your business works. Clear scopes and written quotes for transparency and peace of mind.
We build with the next stage in mind. We have long term, productive client relationships - working as a partner for systems, data, tech and web.
Websites are built with a forward looking view of the tech landscape. Your investment now will still be paying dividends for years to come.
SCOPE
You don't need all of the technical details to get started. We help map out your business goals and turn them into a clear project scope. Nailing the scope upfront is so important. Requests that arrive later as small tweaks can ripple through the build process and potentially change which platform actually suits the desired outcome. We work through all of these questions before anything is built, so the scope fits where the business is heading, not only where it is today.
Some businesses arrive with a graphic designer and a brand already built. Others need everything handled by us. Both are straightforward, and which one applies changes the shape and the cost of the build.
Is copy written? Videos and photos already shot? How much is there to do and who is responsible for it? Content can be the longest part of the build and the part most often underestimated by business owners.
A classic small business brochure-style site, or more complex with an online shop, customer portal or backend systems for your team. Each function influences the platform choice, build and testing time.
Whether the site stores customer or business information, who is allowed to see it, and what it has to connect to. Databases bring structure, and they bring responsibility.
The path for a new build is clear. Preserving existing content, search rankings and visibility earned over years is a different job requiring experience to ensure everything is executed cleanly.
We help map out the technical details behind where you want to take your business in the coming years. Decisions made well now pay massive dividends later by not having to start from scratch later on.

Our Work
Here are a number of public facing projects for local Mornington Peninsula small businesses.
Click through to read the brief and view the sites live on the web.
A cost effective, modern landing page site to unlock paid marketing efforts and begin to capture SEO traffic. The site had to be loyal to the parent franchise brand styles. The Coochie Mornington Peninsula site has also been speed optimised to help offer the best user experience on mobile when coming from paid ads.
Converting a graphic design concept into a working website. Built as a basic HTML app for low overheads and no maintenance. The site incorporates flashy design styling into basic functionality to handle enquiries and steer prospective customers to the event booking system and social media. This is V1.0 and will be built upon when the client is ready.
Planned as a multi-stage build for a start-up business. Daysha required Shopify-like templates and product layouts but with restricted purchasing - only allowed for pre-approved wholesale accounts. A low cost launchpad to build business momentum and generate sales before expanding into a complete e-commerce platform.
PLATFORM CHOICE
There is no single correct platform to build a website. That being said technology is changing and we are seeing a shift away from legacy platforms like Wordpress. We are not biased towards a single platform because the Wallace Corp team can build on them all. Our recommendations come with a forward looking view of the internet, tailored for your specific business needs.
Best for: Low cost, speed and simplicity
The fastest and cheapest thing to run. No plugins to patch and very little to break with no ongoing maintenance. Right for a simple, brochure-style site that rarely changes. Not the best option for those who want to update the site themselves.
HTML websites →Best for: Publishing regularly and SEO
Content Management System (CMS) platforms like Wordpress have dominated the web for the last decade and a half. A large ecosystem of add-ons makes it highly customisable. Good where staff publish regularly and the site changes often. Does require ongoing maintenance.
WordPress development →Best for: Getting online quickly and cheaply
Low maintenance and fast to launch. A sensible choice when the business would rather not run any infrastructure at all. A range of attractive, pre-designed templates can help keep build costs low. Requires ongoing software subscriptions.
No-code Web →Best for: Selling products
Catalogue, payments, shipping and tax handled properly. Shopify and WooCommerce are the big two in e-comm. We also build custom storefronts from scratch and integrate other key business systems with your chosen sales platform.
E-commerce platforms →Best for: Advanced features for non-technical DIYers
Platforms like Bubble and Webflow allow people without any coding knowledge to still build very powerful, custom solutions. Ideal for fast prototyping and founders with a DIY attitude.
No-code applications →Best for: Perfectly tailored solutions
The most powerful and flexible option, we build quite literally anything you could possibly need. Complex databased solutions with visually appealing front end design - either customer facing or for internal business tools.
Web applications →PROCESS

FAQ
Wallace Corporation works at all ends of the spectrum - from sole traders to multi-million dollar businesses. Websites can start from as little as $600 + GST and range up to $40,000 + for huge projects. We recommend taking a look at our packages page where modern, high quality starter sites kick off from $1500 + GST, or reach out to discuss a custom scoped project.
Absolutely! Many clients reach out because their existing web is slow or not ranking well on search engines. We will recommend using what you already have if that's the best path forward. A number of our small business packages are designed around the common website upgrades required.
A very simple brochure-style site might only take a couple of days if we have everything we need. The average job might take a couple of weeks, and huge projects can take months. It really just depends on the scope. Talk to us about your timeline - we also offer rush rates to deliver jobs extremely quickly.
There's no one answer here - most often a developer will answer the question with the only web platform they're confident in using! At Wallace Corp we build on anything if we think it is the best choice for the customer. Talk to us for a free consult on what we think will work for you.
This depends on the platform we are building on. If you want to be able to update the site yourself then we will choose the right platform and scope in that as part of the build.
Yes. We build integrations with accounting, CRM and booking systems, and custom APIs where no off-the-shelf connector exists. These are common tasks we offer under our System Design service pillar - we aren't just web developers.
Foundations first: fast pages, clean structure, descriptive headings, real answers to the questions buyers actually ask, and structured data that machines can read. That is what both Google and AI assistants rely on. We also build the local signals that matter for a Peninsula business. See more on our packages page.
This really comes down the platform. Some are not AI-optimised at all which will make them relatively expensive and slower to build on. Generally speaking, Wallace Corporation was using AI well before ChatGPT was a thing, so we really do know what we're doing with it and you certainly won't get any generic AI-slop output from us.
We recommend registering as a customer here so we get all of your business details on file. Then we will do some preliminary research and follow up with you for a call or meeting to scope things out.
No. We are based in Rosebud and work across the whole Peninsula, and remotely with clients further afield. Local clients can meet us in person and we often do site visits, especially when helping with system design projects or important planning stages.
